I’m horrible addicted too instagram. I have not had the app on my phone for the past year but I still log at least 2 hours with safari on my phone on using chrome on my computer. I have the “remember my credentials” thing turned off and logged out and I havnt been on it in the past 4 days which is huge for me. whenever I search for it I am met with the login screen and I just tell myself no and I don’t log in. I’ve been surprised how well this is working we will see how long it lasts
i have an iphone and deleting instagram off of my homescreen (so that i can still access the app if i want) is a game changer. it helps to curb the kind of muscle memory you get from opening it automatically to begin the mindless scroll. i still check it maybe look at a few posts but overall i'm barely on it now. i would spend 2+ hours a day on it scrolling mindlessly and by best time was thursday when i spent a whopping seven minutes on it!!!
If you’re within an hour walk from home, you should just walk home.
I understand taking public transit or an Uber there to be on time, but you’re not rushing to get home. Thus, walk.
