been to hundreds of shows but SOAD fulfilled a childhood dream of mine, I went by myself, I cried a few times and a guy asked me if I wanted to get on his shoulders , felt like I was in a movie. Honorable mentions- Alex G in 2015, SOPHIE in 2018, Mitski in 2018, Foo Fighters in 2021 a few months before Taylor Hawkins died

Guided by voices, 4/22/1995

They played a club in town on my 21st birthday and I didn’t go. The club has the show poster on the wall behind the bar so I’m reminded every time I get something to drink! I saw them do a short set at a barely attended concert on campus earlier in the day, though. They came on after Blink (now known as Blink 182).

Dropped out due to drug induced psychosis 9 years ago. Beat heroin addiction. Finished community college and currently working on my undergrad at UD. I started getting clean the day Nancy Reagan died, which will never not be funny. Hell of an elevator pitch…
