š¦There is a place on west 87th st Where you can just drop off injured birds that you find. They will NOT give you the box back though so donāt transport the bird there in a box that you care about.

she fell from the ceiling then crawled behind the radiator and i pulled her out and put her in a little box.
i brought her outside because i didnāt know what else to do, and i was sitting there watching her while a lined formed (because iām the only one on the clock) and i was like if i watch this baby bird die iām gonna have a nervous breakdown for real.
(i had on adrienne lenker all day because i was feeling emo and ultimately that didnāt help the situation)
a regular offered to take her home and nurse her back to health. good.
i texted my boss about it and she said i could take $30 extra dollars out of the register.
(which is great because itās been dead today and no one in park slope tips that much)
earlier a guy came in wearing a goofy ass hat and a shirt that said āWake up. Do good. Repeat.ā and he literally didnāt even tip me.
literally i would be suchhhh a good administrative assistantā¦. saving lives and filing and stuff.

This little guy was chilling (literally) on the pavement of a street freezing to death. Iām assuming he fell out of a nest, but I took him to a safe and warm place. I hope heās doing well now :(
