it's almost time for spring migration, which means all types of beautiful migratory birds are about to start smashing into windows
keep a paper bag on u! if u see a bird that looks injured or dazed put it in the bag and call wild bird fund, they'll come pick it up and nurse it until it’s ready to go back to the wild
when was the last time u saved a life....u could be a HERO!!!

There is a place on west 87th st Where you can just drop off injured birds that you find. They will NOT give you the box back though so don’t transport the bird there in a box that you care about.

This little guy was chilling (literally) on the pavement of a street freezing to death. I’m assuming he fell out of a nest, but I took him to a safe and warm place. I hope he’s doing well now :(

It’s spring so its likely you may be receiving more visits from birds. good to know what these visits are trying to communicate to you! I just saw a pair of blue jays which may mean I need to speak up about something 🤔
