PJ HARVEY “rid of me” on jay leno (1993)
left me speechless the first time i watched, and i revisit very often. so raw. it’s my lighthouse as a performer and artist tbh.
honorable mention: clairo performing “blouse” on fallon. one of the best late night tv performances i’ve seen in recent years, but i can’t seem to find it on yt at the moment :(

this is my favorite live performance video on youtube. something about the perfect harmony, insane reverb, brilliant songwriting, and very fly-on-the-wall camera setup completely makes me feel the magic that was captured in this room. can’t recommend enough.
