Even when the giants are not well known- whatever you’re doing, you most likely aren’t the first. Look to those who came before and learn from them- both from their successes and mistakes. Not only will what you make be better for it, but I myself can think of no greater honor than to be an inspiration for those who come after.
… and yes, I’m talking about discovering a really elegant TTRPG system created several years ago and put out for free to the world that I’m adapting for my own game. Because I’m a giant nerd.

I know I'm not cool. That's why I appreciate the PI community for letting me play at being cool. I feel like a hipster pollywog with a protective froggie parent letting me explore the pond safely.
