🕐I saw a tweet of mine from 5 years ago and after shuttering after realizing I had tweets from 5 years ago I took a moment to look at how different of a person I was, the person I was probably wouldn't be able to recognize who I am today and honestly I couldn't be happier I was in a bad place at the time even though part of me still has nostalgia for that era of my life

🕊i was out with friends recently and i was reminded of my wattpad era…i just regained access to my old account that i hadn’t touched in 10 or so years. re-reading all my old fanfiction is definitely so embarrassing but it reminds me of a simpler time. i would never write fanfic at my big age now but it’s nice to know 15 year old me had some solid story ideas aside from the cringe. every now and then i would be like “wait i kinda snapped with that.” wouldn’t be the writer i am today without that time. i also had a handful of non-celebrity based fiction up and it was cool to see me coming into my own. not to toot my own horn but my stories were bringing in anywhere between 6k-80k reads and thousands of likes and like i’m proud of little me. i kind of mastered the art of the rom-com in the best way a 14-17 year old could.
