Small scale cpg
I worked in retail and operations management for a specialty coffee company for a few years, and recently switched to cpg production for a small energy bar company :)
I also do a little e-comm management and web design on the side.

gloodon for sure nailed it, I did marketing for the coffee brand haha. I like my job and our bars (nda so I won’t share the brand) but tbh my personal recommendation is don’t buy bars, make your own!

I do UX design and creative strategy (catchall idk) at a small design & development studio. We rule so if anyone needs a new site for their company hmu haha. I got here roundabout and have worked in art, farmers markets, and nonprofit comms before this β€” I think having a diverse work bg (and being a good writer) is super helpful for what I do.

UPDATED WORK SET UP!
ive been the logistics guy for the shop i work at for years, but very recently shifted into the position of being a systems architect. I've been have been having a lot of fun getting it all set up, despite being a lot busier than i'm used to. i know i made a post about it before, but i think it's so important for businesses to promote from within!!

Divesting
I left tech in 2020 burnt out from beige walls. Currently working outside doing residential compost pickup part-time and planting food forests. I opened an etsy shop turning recycled computer pieces into craft supplies, but it’s been a slow start. I love this life, but I need just a little more income to make it work, open to suggestions.

I like setting the rice cooker while I get ready for the day, it’s like a timer for my routine. Sometimes I’ll make an egg to go on top, but usually I just mix the rice with a packet of instant miso soup and some hot water to make a savory porridge/ochazuke.
