you're friends! you've all but written a children's book! Love the image of a fat furry squirrel chomping breaded bird carcass. we once had one come up to the bedroom window and stare but he never came back:(

one time I watched a squirrel carry a jar of peanut butter up a tree and stash in in a hole. over the next few days he came back and tried to unscrew the top of the jar until he finally got it off and had access to the goods.

taking care of ur backyard friends
formed a solid friendship with the squirrel in the backyard- I give him a walnut or two and he sits on a table or the window and enjoys it while I sip on coffee, he always makes sure I see him too, he’s kind of the best
