i am being completely sincere when i say this. the brand is out of control but the artist remains and i refuse to let anyone make me feel bad or uncool for loving what i love regardless of if zero people share the feeling, a handful of interesting well dressed people share the feeling, or in this case — if millions of annoying people share the feeling. at the end of each day, all i can be is me.

Liking popular music

It’s ok to be “basic” sometimes. Popular album, songs, and artists are popular for a reason!!! I’m kinda over the whole social judgment of liking very popular stuff. The desperate need to have individually and uniqueness is so exhausting to see, sometimes you can just like stuff because you like it!! Let people like things!!!!

i think that life’s too short to be embarrassed about liking a cheesy movie or being into kpop or still listening to the music you were into when you were in middle school. if it makes you happy then that’s all that matters :)
