if yr ever in atlanta for an extended period of time, check out videodrome, our only video rental store in the city ! they have an really cool collection of international, arthouse, independent, and mainstream films (currently im going through abbas kiarostami’s filmography) there’s something so refreshing about seeking out and consuming media without the influence of the internet, away from algorithms that tell you what yr supposed to like—it’s nice to browse around and take the ownership of yr own art consumption back in yr own hands

Pretty sick, went with a friend and it was very funny. $14 Movie Theater IPAs were hitting in a fantastic way. Then we went to see the second half of the Knicks game in some dive in the Village. It was a great time, stumbled on the escalator in front of strangers. 10/10

I have another indie theater that I prefer because it’s cozier, has better vibes, is much closer to me, and everybody who works there is genuinely passionate about film. It’s not really anything special visually but it’s a beautiful institution and it’s so fun to be there ❤️ But this one is an old art deco theatre designed by architect John Eberson (he designed Loew’s Paradise in the Bronx and the Paradise Theatre in Chicago)! It’s pretty run down/poorly managed and staffed but it’s a gorgeous building and definitely worth visiting. Not my photos but included for illustrative purposes!!

I'd say i f with cold chickpeas pretty heavily. You don't have to make a massive stew and boil em to death. Just throw them in a bowl with some sun dried tomatoes, some spinach, maybe some olive oil, lemon, bunch of herbs and enjoy. or maybe go crazy and add hummus for some chickpea on chickpea action cheap - good - i like

You can store them forever so you don't have to shop as often + it's cheap! Beans are good n versatile, tinned fish = amazing and canned tomatoes is literally a sauce if you just add minimal effort

Dialling those measurements in over time and learning to taste as you go will also make you a better cook
Just eyeball it, it’s not that serious and I can’t be bothered to wash all those little scoops! (*Unless you’re baking)
