i adore when my friends give me actual specific things they want for their birthday, the holidays, special occasion, whatever. no more of this "you don't have to get me a gift!" bullshit when i ask what you want for your birthday. we both know i'm getting you something regardless so just tell me what you actually want. i hate getting people gifts when i'm unsure if they'll like it.
i try to keep track of the things people love and say they want throughout the year so i have ideas. a couple of my friends and i even have a shared album where we put screenshots of the things we really want throughout the year so we have a plethora of ideas.
