Everyone’s like blah blah oat milk blah blah almond milk. Even going as far as pea milk and pistachio milk and I don’t even know what else. Frankly I do not like oat milk and it’s ranking is pretty low on how it makes my morning coffee taste. So what ever happened to soy? It may or may not be randomly more expensive now but I love it and to me it tastes like childhood. Maybe soy milk was culturally canceled because of the health concerns of estrogen but I’m pretty sure that was all debunked/not enough evidence to link it back to solely soy milk consumption. ok I just googled to confirm that. Anyways, if you’re eating tofu you can have some soy milk in your coffee. Live a little!

Fear not — you too can indulge in this delicious caviar spread outside the confines of a Greek restaurant. One trip to the grocery store for a jar of this good ol stuff and lo and behold - a lob of taramasalata on top of my eggs for breakfast adds another level of delicious saltiness. Call it the poor man’s (real) caviar on eggs.

Every few days or so I daydream about a specific food/meal/cuisine I have been sorely missing and haven’t been thinking about. Then I figure out when/where I want that food and that makes me excited for the week. In college I used to daydream a lot about this right before bed and before I fell asleep I’d think about what kind of eggs I wanted in the morning. Now it has simply matured. A few weeks ago it was steak tartare (frequent craving). Last week or so I was thinking about Chipotle burrito bowl and Chinese takeout. What will be next!
