went to a cinema club - this is what it's all about. community is real! even in the city! it's not all over. i watched natural enemies and boxing helena with my friend and ally charlie. the first was awesome, the second was less so - but arguably more fun. sherilyn fenn is not a star, she is something else entirely.

One of the easiest and most fulfilling paths to joy when you live alone in your 20s is to invite over your friends for a dumpling dinner party
1. prep the filling right before friends arrive (pork, napa cabbage, scallions) 2. gather around a large table with dumpling wrappers, little saucers of water, and parchment-lined baking sheets 3. share what's on your mind, who you've been seeing, what you've been reading, etc. while you fold dumplings into crescent moons 4. cook dumplings (boil, steam, pan-fry) and serve with black vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil 5. rejoice over warm bellies and precious human connection
