definitely more than just "problematic", he did some very deplorable things but he was also an amazing producer and songwriter and heavily inspired my fave (Brian Wilson)
Everything about him in the late 70s/early 80s was so hip. His fashion, music, and of course his mustache. Recently watched an old SNL episode he hosted, and immediately got back into his discography (also discovered Phoebe Snow)
