Okay soo... I can go a lot of ways with this.. if you want truly cozy, i.e lighter, comedic.. maybe I am not your best recommender, haha. Or pls define cozy and I can try my best. Here's some I enjoyed. Darker, perhaps or maybe typical, but here ya go regardless: The Silent Patient- Alex Michaelides .. maybe a more well known suggestion.. if you were cool with Gone Girl, etc. still good. Night Film: A Novel - Marisha Pessl .. dark creepy thriller. Good if you are a fan of horror films/general weirdness. Dept. Q series - Jussi Adler-Olsen ... Nordic(ish) mystery . Cold cases. Some darker than others. Also have been made into films. 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle - Stuart Turton...more Agatha Christie vibe. Like an escape room, in book form. I've got more, haha. Lmk.

Pretty sick, went with a friend and it was very funny. $14 Movie Theater IPAs were hitting in a fantastic way. Then we went to see the second half of the Knicks game in some dive in the Village. It was a great time, stumbled on the escalator in front of strangers. 10/10

I have another indie theater that I prefer because it’s cozier, has better vibes, is much closer to me, and everybody who works there is genuinely passionate about film. It’s not really anything special visually but it’s a beautiful institution and it’s so fun to be there ❤️ But this one is an old art deco theatre designed by architect John Eberson (he designed Loew’s Paradise in the Bronx and the Paradise Theatre in Chicago)! It’s pretty run down/poorly managed and staffed but it’s a gorgeous building and definitely worth visiting. Not my photos but included for illustrative purposes!!

✅ Numero Group sweatshirt ✅ No makeup ✅ In absolute awe at the music, the storytelling, the folklore, the Southern vampires. Haven’t been hitting the AMC as much now that unemployment has come to an end, need to rectify this stat.

Like this former ice house/band practice space/storage unit/ no idea there was so much random stuff ... It has had many lives and will have many more. Grand Rapids is more interesting than it appears. Placemaking. Exhibition. Activation. Art and community and connection. Here we go.

But you do. Great Courses are pretty awesome. Find a degree you don't want to / have the money to pay for but you wish you did and seek our their course guides. (Here is an example: https://library.bu.edu/gastronomyguides ) Read the articles . listen to the podcasts. Pirate the textbooks. Be a fucking whole ass person and explore your interests because life is complicated and beautiful and you deserve to exist in that space in a way that is gratifying and encourages you to seek more and be more.
