I recently wanted this movie that a lot of history war nerds, incels, fascists, and Roman statue guys are into. It was a pretty good action packed film. Although I donât see how any of its core fan base could see themselves in any of the main characters. I guess thatâs part of their mythology though

đA truly terrible mega pretentious flop of a film that shows how out of touch our elites are, beware of old men talking about Ancient Rome!!! But watching this at Peckhamplex was one hell of a night⊠as the story/dialogue/aesthetic sensibility got more and more incoherent normal cinema etiquette was completely thrown out the window, ppl were laughing and shouting at the screen, I love a packed out audience experience <3

This is a fantastic movie
All the discourse surrounding it is exhausting itâs a fictional movie about war photographers and the tragedies of war and it is not a warning or âthis will actually happen if we donât fix thingsâ movie
Kirsten Dunst is obviously great but Cailee Spaeny is the standout for me she is just so fucking good (canât wait for alien Romulus that is going to be so cool)
The soundtrack is insane and songs play over the most harrowing shit youâve ever seen that you would never think to put over those scenes but it works so so well
See it in imax if you can the gunfire is deafening and shocking and it is a great looking movie too (the incorporation of the photography throughout is incredible)
Anyone from DC or the surrounding area will be weirded out or at least I was seeing insane combat in the streets of dc and in the White House/lincoln memorial/Washington monument but it made it even more impactful for me
