I (admittedly) don’t do this as often as I should, but it’s SO underrated. I suggest walks  whenever you need to clear your head. Specifically, I believe everyone should walk up a hill at least once a week. The act tires me out and leaves me grumbling everytime, but the walk down a hill is one of the most rewarding feelings I’ve experienced in my life.

i used to feel guilty for taking long walks in the morning bc i always felt like i placed my value in my output, & walking wasn’t something i considered “productive” :/// when i finally gave myself permission to let whatever i felt called to do be productive, the flow of creative ideas, mental soundness & nervous system regulation i felt was overwhelming. in a good way. the sun, the fresh air, the forward movement of my body, the people watching… everything fed the positive energy i seemingly kept for the rest of my day. walking is productive. so is being in the sun. so is doing nothing sometimes. i need that reminder sometimes so this post is for me too :’)

I like the neuroplastic/wholesome/health recs in these letters, and I remember this specific advice from an earlier one and am going to echo it. Walking is really it. People love lifting and breaking sweats but frankly walking 8,000 steps a day (10 tbh) is more important for long-term health. By a hair… I won’t make any crazy claims like walking can cure depression. But…. if you eat right, breathe through your nose, get some sleep and sun and have something you want to do every day, and have a couple of bucks to your name and some friends, it might. More realistically, even when things could improve at least you get to go on a nice long walk.

I don’t think this needs any explanation! I love her music and her voice is amazing. I recently  went to her concert and I was surprised that I knew about 75% of the lyrics to her recent album. I NEVER know lyrics, including my own, so that’s how I knew I was a mega fan!

On my last week in LA back in February of this year, I asked my manager for food  recommendations because I was tired of eating Panda Express and Dave’s Hot Chicken everyday. He recommended this place and quite honestly, I nearly chewed him out for not  recommending it sooner! The bento box is so good (I always get Combo B) and the portion  sizes are perfect! If you like Korean food, I highly recommend checking this place out!

I despise the milk in milk cartons with a passion. Whenever I need milk, I go out and buy  evaporated milk (usually comes in a can; not to be confused with condensed milk). It’s a bit  thicker, sweeter, and tastes better than the ones in cartons (in my opinion)! These days, I have it  a lot with my Captain Crunch!
