Out of curiosity, how does the curation process work here? Do you sit down at the beginning of the month and decide what your songs for the month will be? Or do you add to the playlist as you go along?
I'd honestly love to start something like this but I'm not sure how to decide what I want to listen to and what I'll enjoy throughout the month

@OPA101 I’ve also been doing this for 10 ish years and I basically just add songs to it as I think of them or when I hear them for the first time and think I’d like to get to know this song (lol, sometimes I delete those as the month goes on when I realise I don’t like them) - I also add songs in advance, like my august playlist has about 5 songs on it already so I’m starting off strong with July favourites

@OPA101 I also don’t limit myself to that playlist for the month, I frequently go back and listen to old ones (like different July -2016, 2021 or whatever - ones throughout July lol) so often the same songs crop up in months across the years as I’ll add them from those too. It doesn’t have to have any rules basically! and I live choosing the album cover thing on Spotify
