personally, I love to receive mundane items that are useful. kitchen gadgets/desk items/organizers/command hooks/picture frames/tools etc. it's also a fun way to get objects that are a bit more interesting than the norm ā like if I bought myself a stapler, I'd find some cheapo depot ish, but as a gift go ahead and ask for that coolio one
a handwritten letter, a drawing, a card you made, a bracelet, or something baked. making something yourself shows you care, even if it's not the best or the prettiest.
iām really into handcrafted or small brand cards! i always get something that i think matches the recipientās vibe. and always something with a cute/quirky/pretty/nice design on the front (nothing completely blank like a single color). text can be on the front but either way i usually try for cards that are blank inside so i can write as much as i want. i date them in the top right corner, and sign with a little heart and/or smiley depending on the person. xoxo madi :)
i overlooked this album for way too long, even tho prefab is one of my fav bands. now i listen every day. āall the world loves loversā + āice maidenā are masterpieces!!
