when this happens to me i take it as a sign to not ever settle. sometimes i have dreams where the love i feel is so intense, so comfortable, so unlike anything i have ever felt awake, that it’s almost like it’s saying “if you don’t feel like this, don’t ever accept it.”

I recently dreamt about a relationship with a girl who I wasn’t even super interested in (who was also in a relationship), only to unintentionally begin spending a bunch of time with her, to have her then break up with her boyfriend, and I’m just here w the dream in mind like… wtf is happening here. 😂 so I feel you!

I’ve actually had a recurring dream where 2 people in my friend group (who idk irl— they’re totally made up) broke up and the guy started dating another of the friends. The girl was fine single but we had another guy in the group who was in love with her and wanted to ask her to marry him (despite our pleads for him not to).
Each dream, he gets closer and closer to popping the question. The last dream I had, he’d finally got down on one knee and was about to do it at the weirdest and inopportune time. And as soon as he opened his mouth to ask, I woke up. The dream hasn’t come back since.
Oh and we’re around our late teens/early twenties I think? I’m in my thirties so I thought this was a significant detail.
I haven’t deciphered it yet but I can’t believe I haven’t finished this saga.

Dream realm RENDEZVOUS

I dreamed last night that I was stopping my bff from getting back together with her ex as of like a week ago. He was scheming and begging and she was crying. Of all the years of us being friends, she’s literally never starred in my dreams.
This reminded me to check in on her this morning, and before I even said anything, she said she dreamed of getting back together with him and woke up crying🫢

My god everything is experienced better this way. Stop looking at guides, walkthroughs, endings explained (my least favorite), even the blurbs on the back. Such a rare opportunity in this time to go into something without knowing anything about it, yet so rewarding. To be pleasantly surprised or blown away, to have no idea what’s happening, to find that you really didn’t like it, an opinion formed on your own.. nothing is more valuable
