ghost Notifications

The lil bell at the bottom of the app is lit up with a number of notifications but when I click into the notis tab only one or two actually show up

a Few notes

•notifications for convos are off. Either it says I have a bunch when I don’t, or it doesn’t notify me if I do.
•I definitely miss notifications. Maybe if they could be filtered that would help?
