i was just scrolling through what everyone’s been listening to and got taken aback by how obvious it is that the artist/song/album someone recommends is really loved by them from the way they describe it. such lovely descriptions convince me to drop everything and listen to all of these recs and see if i can feel what you guys are feeling

🐽i just cut open an orange, i smell it. i am about to make some tea, i smell both the cup and the tea bag. i am cooking, i smell all the ingredients and spices and make sure they work together. putting on a t-shirt, i smell it. about to pour some water into my water bottle, smell it (that can be disgusting).
i don't know if this is a habit or a tick but i do it unconsciously.

i always always carry a pack of cards in my bag. my cards have been to all the countries i’ve been to and have been soaking wet, in snow, in sand... they will fall apart soon.
i probably end up using them 50% of the time but at this point they are a safe item that i know i can whip out if you need to spice it up with your friends. i love learning new card games and my goal for 2025 is to ask more strangers to join in and play a few rounds with me and my friends.
