totally legitimate to not want to go on meds but i recently started adderall and it’s changed my life! i personally couldn’t stick with any of the tools/exercises/thought processes without it lol.

100% agreed!! if you really just don’t want to take meds then of course don’t do something you’re not comfortable with but if it’s at all bc of the stigma/guilt around taking stimulants then don’t let that stop you! they really can be life changing. i will say it’s kinda hard to not become dependent on them so if that’s something you’re worried about maybe look into non-stimulant ADHD meds! they can be great for people who can’t tolerate the stimulant side effects also

doesn’t have to be your own garden to be a good time! could see if there are any community gardens nearby, they often have volunteer work days and it’s so rewarding to see bees and other little buddies enjoying your efforts :’)

one of my favorite things about getting older is learning that this happens! my childhood best friend and i drifted way apart in high school and college, but over the past couple years have found that we actually have a lot in common again and have reconnected. we were always in each other’s lives but now it’s in a much deeper way. now i’m less anxious when i feel drifting from other friends — if we’re ever on the same path again, we’ll find each other. letting the ebbs and flows happen. i agree with the people who said it’s nice to reach out in small ways just to keep them in your orbit without putting a lot of pressure on ~connecting~

i read on kindle for a few years, until i started noticing that i barely remembered some of the books i read! i like to have a print book now so i can form a relationship with it as a physical object, which i guess helps me remember more about it. lately i’ve been buying them and giving them away after, but i want to use the library more too. lugging around a book everywhere i go is just one of the welcome inconveniences in my life :’)
