“iced coffee so good i had to ride it” is like scripture to me. unless you have pain youll be completely fine at the dentist. i was worried when i went for the first time in a while but they were actually very impressed by my flossing habits 😎

the teeth post made me go down a reddit rabbit hole and like 50/50 ppl go to the dentist every year and have a new cavity or they dont go for 20 years and have perfect teeth its bugged

i haven’t been to the dentist in two years and i am freaking the fuck out and the new dentist gave me the option of: - music to play (i said indie pop) - blanket and pillow (absolutely dude i’m gonna be cozy as fuck) - nitrous oxide (ik this is gonna cost me too much money but honestly i’m anxious enough that it’s worth it) like damn i’m kinda looking forward to the part that doesn't involve getting my teeth scraped and being scolded about flossing

THAT POST-DENTAL EXAM HIGH

If they could bottle up the feeling of leaving the dentist with freshly cleaned teeth and a blessing of good health / no cavities, that would be my drug of choice. I went through a dental crisis in 2018/2019 that made going to the dentist really hard, expensive, and scary. But now I’m stable and in good shape! Addicted to my six-month check-ins!
