Much more pleasant than watching a video or something while you unload the dishes. Call a friend, see how they’re doing, get some good gossip maybe, ask if they’re reading anything good right now.
It’s so good to call them up and see how they are, or what they’re doing. You don’t even need a reason. You can just call and be like “what’s up” and most of the time they’ll appreciate it!
calling people is nice, it gets you out of the dystopian neck-break of looking at your phone all day - put that thing to your ears and call me! talking is human!
