Last night, I attempted to go to the Alice Coltrane art exhibition opening at the Hammer in LA (but despite showing up early they‘d already hit capacity for the event womp womp)
Anyways I had it booked if this happened I’d head to the World Stage in Leimert Park just 20-minutes east for some jazz. And y’all… it’s been on my list to get to this side of town and check it out - blown away. Amazing talent coming through here.

Saw a show last night with a friend in LA (Lola Young, echoplex). relaxed, danced around in the back mostly- got a bit closer when we felt like it. sang our heads off. inception rec- Lola young is a face melter of an artist.

📍fairly small venue but i just went for my first time last night and it was fantastic. very kind staff. really cute atmosphere. sounds like it doubles as a restaurant/bar during the day but i've never been... very tempted
