a big pet peeve I have is people complaining about not having community or only having âparty friendsâ etc BUT are they inviting their existing friends or acquaintances to go out for dinner, go thrifting, watch tv, book club, people watch, day trip, mulberry picking? no, they are not. are they introducing their friends to each other? also not. i hate to be a clichĂ© sometimes you gotta put some work into having the relationships you long for. plus: youâre part of the problem. AND have some appreciation for the friends you have instead of focusing so much in what you donât.
