@SILENCEDOGOOD first and foremost, always left over with the honey dew on the fruit platter. sometimes i feel guilty for the left over pieces and feel the need to include them. also it was considered a disgraceful gift around the era of the french revolution as the pineapple gained its glory as being exotic and expensive (cantaloupe being considered a "new money" tacky fruit to have around and or gift). i feel like cantaloupe is systemically underrated and has been disrespected for years

@LLQ ok yeah divisive for sure. I didnāt know the historical context and now Iām enthralled. This goes well with my love of āvanillaā as something exotic and balanced in flavor rather than something boring or bland.
Personally I love all melons
