yeah yeah you've heard it a million and one times to be nice to people but i mean be nice to your friends; reach out and compliment them on something! say they have a cool fit today, say their hair looks nice, their smile is warm or that they listen to cool music or do cool things; i think everyone deserves to hear something nice about themselves and that a friend might really appreciate a kind word or two!
