remember how goated facebook events were? (back when people actually used fb) it used to be the home of DIY shows, a random party your friend was showing, a meet-up, whatever.
you could actually see which of your friends were going to an event on the same site you're already hanging out, see what's coming up in your area, etc.
what do we have now? a flyer on Instagram with no way to differentiate who "liked" it and who is actually going. you scroll by and then forget because there's no built-in way to remind yourself about it.
this is the vibe we're bringing back with PI events...with some new bells and whistles of course. we must #return
that being said! what's linked here is not even close to the final version and contains none of those features I talked about above. it's just a baby step i coded in an hour last night to see who is pulling up to our event in austin texas.
