i recently visited nyc & went to central park for the 2nd time in my life. it was a beautiful day & a turtle had wandered away from the reservoir & onto the path. a passerby offered the turtle a little piece of mango from his fruit cup - another passerby said calmly āno, youāll kill itā, the the mango holding passerby said, āreally?ā, the opposition said āi dunnoā - they both walked away.
either way, i came to ask who are you here? offer the turtle a bit of mango for the whimsy of it, or err on the side of caution as to (possibly) not disturb the park turtleās natural function.
