There is no option to contact search like on most socials… would be neat to see which of your friends have accounts.
Also it would be cool to see users by location, especially for those who live in smaller cities.

I think it can be hard because sometimes people act weird when you reach out as an internet stranger. Sometimes it feels like people want to cool guy you and not engage but there’s definitely places like here and more niche forums where people definitely still want to jibber jabber and be buds.
Probably my farthest flung internet friend is from Malaysia and we just yak about wristwatches.
