👁i realized that despite my very consistent days and schedule there was so many things I didn’t notice about my routes that bring me way more joy, strange signs, neat graffiti, abandoned things, consistent things changing things. It’s not a full life shift but it made me much more interested in my mundane world

🌇Inspired by taking an evening walk and noticing this beautiful purple house in my neighborhood. I’ve lived in the same place for almost 3 years and walked down this street plenty of times but for some reason it stood out today. Sometimes the light just hits in such a way that something I’ve seen several times before looks new/different.
I guess this rec is essentially to take the expression of “looking at things in a different light” very literally.
