SPENDING ABOUT AS MUCH MONEY ON YOUR DOG AS A FRUGAL PARENT WOULD ON A HUMAN CHILD
No because why am I sitting here thinking about enrolling Benny in daycare if I get this new job … don’t even get me started on his bougie food costs or the money I’ve spent on medical care and insurance over the years 🤦‍♀️ but look at that face omg he deserves it… anyway I think the IRS should allow me to legally claim him as a dependent

I was just complaining about this. it’s kind of crazy how much I spend on dog food + treats + food additives and I don’t even get the bougie stuff.

@WHALEBUTT it’s ridiculous!! i thought having a dog was a cheaper alternative to children but I guess having children must cost way more now too? LOL The economy…. I get him freeze dried liver or salmon treats at Costco btw I feel ripped off buying anything else and they’re pretty cheap

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
