ESCAPING TO THE CREEK TO AVOID SOCIAL PRESSURES

Pride weekend felt really overwhelming so my girlfriend and I got a lodging in this creekside log cabin lodge and spent the weekend wading, exploring, reading, laughing, and celebrating our relationship(my only goal for pride weekend). Felt like my soul took a deep breath in, sure we had a bit of fomo but the respite we got instead of the hangover was well worth it!

WEEKEND IN PORTLAND

my bestie lives here and finally time allowed for me to visit her. we got breakfast, swam in the Sandy river, and ate take out in the grass in the rose gardens. falling asleep tonight to this view ✨

even if its delusional, I really do love the idea of trusting that all of the perceived hardships, anxieties, and lessons ultimately lead to a path that's catered to our individual needs for growth and learning.
maybe I am detaching from reality in an effort to cope, but I truly am starting to believe that miracles (big and small) happen daily and that we will all be ok in the end.
