It started with the two purple teacups. My mom used to have a bunch of fiestaware and it made me so nostalgic and this shade of purple is my absolute favorite. Then I said “this purple would look perfect with the green fiestaware.” The next antique place we stopped at had the purple coffee mug and I was so glad I got the teacups. I was officially collecting this set.
Queue a few days later we go to a flea market and I see the purple pitcher sitting on a table. I’m truly shocked at this point as I walk over to it. I’m telling my mom and sister how crazy this all is when I look down and on the floor in a bin is all the green dishes. I‘m in bliss. I look back to the table and see the purple trivet next to the pitcher and it‘s like never I’ve ever experienced. I have great luck thrifting, but this was just meant to be.

☕At a weekend away with friends and we’re at a place with identical all-white mugs and people keep losing track of whose is whose. Collect funky/colorful/souvenir mugs! I like finding cool mugs at the thrift store. Or getting one to remember a trip. They’re practical and fun

☕�So this is a weird thing I’ve started to do.I feel like I’m never fully satisfied with my mugs and espresso / cappuccino cup situation. It’s either too design forward, or too quirky. My most recent solution has been finding random cool cafes in nooks of the world that I want to someday visit, and scouring their online stores for cups and saucers to buy.
