on days when it may not be appropriate to be the most colorful person in the room- at certain formal and professional events- over the years i have curated what i like to call my “norm core wardrobe”. a few simple blouses and a few classic bottoms are all that is necessary to achieve this. although i find it VERY UNCOMFORTABLE TO SUPPRESS MYSELF FROM EXPRESSING MYSELF THROUGH MY STYLE, I DO SUCCESSFULLY CAMOFLAUGE MYSELF EVERYTIME!!! I FEEL LIKE AN UNDERCOVER CHAMELEON EVERYTIME I HAVE TO DO THIS. NEVERTHELESS I PREVAIL!!! I WILL LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY AS THE WHIMSICAL MAXIMALIST CLOWN FAIRY PIRATE THAT I AM!!!

🎩i wanna infiltrate more rich spaces with my broke arse- yes I will sneak in my meal deal.
But in the sense that I will “dress up” for the occasion - but my clothes won’t be designer and will have loose strings because I don’t feed into the consumerist hell hole. so I showed up to the opera in full leather (second hand).
if people with money can appropriate and fetishise working class style and culture, then it’s only right for me to return the favour.

I always want to look like a cunty Jamie Hewlett drawing. A little Nana, a little Hachi, a little Jazzelle aka UglyWorldWide, a little over accessorized, as little clothes as possible sometimes, but also sometimes so many baggy layers I’m basically shapeless, animal print, stripes, jean jackets, too-worn boots, chunky, ugly necklaces, messy hair, lately mostly black, red, and white, a little bit of clown thrown in as well

i just had my last ever performance and i honestly could not have worn these shoes for a day longer. i truly killed these shoes. my performance was outside so i even got grass stains on the bottoms of them. this being my last pair of pointe shoes is so special having worn them past the point of being dead!!!!!
