really cool themed bar, think they only just opened months ago and i got a yelp ad for it when i was in town. the owner was behind the bar and she was the nicest person ever. the attention to details of this place is insane, from glasswares to decors to the fact that every drink on the menu has some kind of homemade ingredient in it
the whole bar at some point bonded over saltburn / jacob elordi / barry keoghan the night i was there so all 10-ish of us ended up sitting and chatting together and the people working joined us as well—i’m getting specific but i have a feeling this isn’t a standalone event!!

Hello Los Angeles residents 👋
Had a bar experience so pleasant I had to share: The Thirsty Crow in Silverlake
Silverlake–– I know–– that's what I thought. But this bar was awesome. Beautiful wooden interior, oil gas lamps, tasteful indie rock, open game cube, pickle shots. Is that "Turkey Vultures" by Wednesday playing on the overhead speakers? Yup. Drinks were so good and a 10$ special for manhattans before 9pm. Took my girls here last night and it was EPIC

Visited Seattle this week and found this lil speak easy, there is no menu and the bartenders come around to your table and ask you what flavors/textures/spirits you like and then create a delicious little spectacle of a beverage especially for you. Thought it was gonna be gimmicky but honestly was the first time i’ve ever even thought about what i really liked in a cocktail and had a LOVELY time.

on new year’s eve, my dad had a major cardiac event, and was in the hospital for nearly the entire month of january. he’s continuing to deal with the repercussions of the physical and emotional trauma he experienced during his hospital stay.
my dad has been a musician for over forty years. a few months ago, he told me he wasn’t feeling connected to music anymore. he wasn’t feeling connected to anything. it made me sad to hear, but i also completely understood why he felt that way after everything that happened.
well, he and i are happy to announce that he recently released a new electronic/ambient album! if you’re into the berlin school style of music, you’ll like this album. :)
i’m so glad he’s making music again. 🤍
