thank you guys for your sweet comments!!! I didn't feel hurt or take it personally; I was just shocked. the interview was with a cofounder who is heavily involved in day-to-day operations and her onsite meeting with a client ran over. it would have been NICE if someone had let me know, but I've worked closely with senior leadership in small companies before and I know how hectic things can get when people wear a lot of hats. she was very apologetic and asked to reschedule so I won't write it off yet. I honestly enjoy situations where other people fuck up because it gives me a small amount of leverage LOL. definitely a data point to keep in mind though and something to watch for in terms of patterns or red flags

if a company lets that happen, they are unprofessional or someone dropped the ball. it’s not a representation on how you stacked up for the role.

@IMKHUSHI this was exactly what happened which was pretty much what I thought would happen! all is well and it might be for the best because I was a little on edge anyway
