When I was handed this bottle by a coworker, I genuinely thought it was just regular Baja Blast, so I think the packaging could use a little more flair. But despite it's low-key appearance, this bad boy is near PERFECT. I have a habit of squeezing a fresh lime into literally any drink I consume, so seeing a lime flavored Baja Blast sounded like it would be made for me, I was right. The lime flavor doesn't overpower the classic Baja Blast flavor you know and love, instead acting as a background flavor that offers a perfect citrus enhancement. To me it literally tasted like Baja Blast with a lime in it. The best part? I didn't have to cut a lime up and squeeze it in! The Dew did it for me! You might have to keep your eyes peeled to notice it at your local gas station, but if you can find it, it's definitely worth a try. Extremely pleasant experience.
Also, complete side note, but I recently reviewed the Dragon Fruit Mountain Dew as a 4/10, but my coworker said she loved it. SO, if you don't care about the dragon fruit specific flavor (which isn't there) and are just looking for a sweet, tasty soda, I suggest giving it a try.

Royal Crown Cola is a brand you don't see on the shelves much these days, but I've always appreciated the unique flavor profile their original cola contains. Recently I've seen a lot of chatter online about this berries and cream version that's been showing up at gas stations and convenience stores across America, so when I ran into it myself, it was a no brainer. Now, berry soda is hard to get right. I've seen Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Sprite (among others) fail to find a good way to integrate berry flavors into their drinks. They end up tasting artificial in a way that inspires thoughts of dumping chemicals on your tongue. Not good. Royal Crown dunks on the mainstream sodas with their eyes closed by quietly putting this on shelves. It's the PERFECT berry soda. It tastes natural and links up nicely with the cola flavor. I'll admit I don't taste a lot of the "cream" mentioned in the name, but I'll take what I can get. If you run into one of these, it comes highly recommended.

Found this in a four pack on vacation and decided "why not". I love butterscotch, I love glass sodas, and I love cool bottle caps (this one has a nice purple twist-off). It very much lives up to it's name, it's a butterscotch beer through and through. I really think it does a good job of giving you the butterscotch flavor without making it overly sweet. With butterscotch it's too easy to sweeten the flavor so much it starts to burn on the way down, but this doesn't do that. It's refreshing and light, though I do think it could use a little more fizz. You know it's a good bottled soda if you see mist seeping from the neck of the bottle after you open it. The Flying Cauldron didn't have any of that. I'd recommend going into it with homemade root beer in mind, it's very reminiscent of that. Also, I must say, it hit even better drinking it at the beach.

Seeing Faygo on the west coast is really rare, so seeing this bad boy sitting in the same fridge as the RC Cola from my last review was another level of exciting. Faygo started in Detroit in the early 20th century. It's a staple over there, so I needed to know what the hype was about. My conclusion is simply that it does what it sets out to do. This very much is a cotton candy soda. Not any better than you'd imagine, but not unpleasant either. It's lacking a little bit of fizz, but I wonder if it's maybe just been sitting on a shelf for too long. It also stained my tongue blue, so I don't appreciate that a whole lot. Faygo enjoyers; what's your favorite flavor in their impressive arsenal? Which ones should I be hunting down?

Aw man the breeze is so nice, the sound of kids playing and adults chatting is a nice ambiance, and wow, it's so pretty out. How come no one ever told me how relaxing it was to have your window open?
