Fits my: makeup, 32oz water bottle, 2 iPads, notebook all my crap really. Adjustable strap length and I think itβs still cute enough to wear to dinner. Comes in leather as well for a classier option. Highly reccomend!

This backpack that fits perfectly under the chair in front. I'm cheap and this way I don't need to pay for baggage. I managed to fit enough stuff for ten days in this thing and I do not pack light lol. It has so many pockets including one for a laptop and has a strap so you can put it on your suitcase. I like that it is has good padded straps and it opens up almost like a suitcase with loads of room. Looks so boxy and funny and gets pretty heavy but honestly worth it for how useful it is. I got this from Amazon (booo) but just Google underseat cabin bag and you'll find one! I bought the smallest one so it can go on the worst budget airlines for free π

i think the problem with big backpacks is that they can be unsightly but if you have a large backpack that looks cool then what's the problem? as someone who commuted to school all four years (except for the covid ones) that backpack is literally your apartment on campus; it's great to keep it light for an average day but if you ever need to pack more stuff into it a little backpack won't let you do that
also don't let memes about freshmen discourage you; they're proliferated by people who were in the grand scheme literally just freshmen themselves. not even joking mere months after graduating all undergrads were unbearably annoying to me and indistinguishable from each other linked is my daily driver backpack c. 09/2021 i will literally never get rid of this bag and it's pretty huge

π―it's helped me get through so many tasks i've dreaded or was too depressed or bogged down in the details to do. even just sitting in silence with another human working on their own thing is helpful. even if it's virtual! sometimes it's just hard to do stuff alone. and talking through stuff with someone who has more grace for me than i do can help get me out of my head
