im not at all flexible and my hands and feet are really small. i realized that after playing viola throughout all of middle school and high school, the spaces between my fingers on my left hand are slightly farther apart than my right hand. and i also learned to snap because of it! i couldn’t before lol

I appreciate my hands more the older I get

Somehow they've become my favourite body part in recent times. It's one part of my body that I can see is aging and I really like how it's going. They are strong and flexible and I have nice healthy nails. I have three calloused fingertips from playing the guitar and I keep my nails quite short and unpainted and I let them grow longer when I'm taking a break from instruments. I think you can tell that I play keys (although really I think that's from typing)

BEING LEFT-HANDED

it’s like being assigned cool and interesting at birth! always a good conversation starter, people love to say “i didn’t know you were left-handed??” the first time they see me write. i’m not sure why it’s such an anomaly but it makes me feel special! (i’m writing this while having to awkwardly use sewing scissors with my right hand because they literally don’t work if i try to use my left hand. it has its downsides but i love being a lefty nonetheless)
