this makes me feel so seen. but i also think theres something so beautiful about being your own kind of weird. like not to be annoying but nobody is the same kind of weird as me. which also is probably untrue but i like to think that i am my own weird.

🫂I think that not being suited for the masses shows that you are being true to yourself ! You are weird ! So what ? At the end of the day we are all unique so technically we are all the same ! You need to see your neighbor as a reflection of yourself ! What I’m trying to say is that you don’t have to prove yourself being you is already a proof of your existence !

⭐it's actually better to be weird! confuse people, be ugly, passionate, be YOU. i spent so much time trying to be perfect and liked by everyone and that way i just got a lot of shallow connections because i refused to let people see the real me and get to really know me. it's silly to chase perfection as it donesn't exist and being weird is better than being boring :p

😌it is so freeing to realize that people liking the same things as me/ being similar to me isn’t a threat and doesn‘t take away from my uniqueness as an individual. connecting with others over shared interests is such a beautiful and necessary part of life.

😃I just recently listened to “Hello My Name Is…” for the first time all the way through and omg. I wish I had a better way of explaining what I feel. This album is pure nostalgia. We all know and love “Hurricane” and ”Ready or Not”, and the entire rest of the record lives up to that. I’ve had it on repeat for days now.

😃ive recently had the privilege to watch my dad fall back in love with music. its always been a big part if my life and its what i hope to pursue as a career, and its always been around the house. but as of late, ive noticed my dad is always playing something and he sings and dances along. its beautiful to see him enjoying something so much.
