I haven’t done a large, planned out work in forever and seeing the beautiful paintings in this thread is so inspirational!! I still try to pick up a pen or brush every now and then but need to commit to doing it more. This is a little sketch of my cat sleeping that I spilled coffee on and now only exists in photo
I used to LOVE sketching bottles, mugs, glasses etc. But I lost my love for sketching many moons ago but today I said fuck it! Shock, I ended up thoroughly enjoying it, still rough and getting used to it but I had lots of fun!
I keep drawing this cat. Maybe once a week. He’s my muse, I saw a temporary line tattoo of him and now I draw him and I can almost draw him straight from memory I will keep drawing him over and over and over until I perfect him and have hundreds of cats in slight variation in this giant notebook I got from five below
