I love pound cake it is so versatile and yummy all times of day! made a earl grey one with lemon glaze the other day and it was delicious!

W/ lemon & powdered sugar. Not too sweet, so good w coffee/tea. I like a cake that can get away with being breakfast, lol.

CAKE FOR BREAKFAST
specifically a not-too-sweet pistachio cake from the tehran market down the street from my house. perfect pairing with tea and it makes me feel happy eating a piece of cake first thing in the morning
