OBVIOUSLY if you know me you know that of course I would love this show. I was scared I wasn’t going to like it because I am a huge Lena Dunham fan and I’ve seen mixed reviews but I’m really enjoying it and i still feel like she just gets me… I think Meg Stalter is actually doing an amazing job channeling Lena with her odd little facial expressions and her endearing aura. just finished episode 5 and it broke me JUSTICE FOR CUTESIE 😔🕯️💔

📺I grew up in Williamsburg/Greenpoint how could I NOT relate …. I have always thought I was a mix of Marnie and Shosh but now I fear I might just be full Hannah. Soundtrack hits, cast is stacked, and Lena is the voice of my generation. Now that I’m away from home this keeps me connected to my roots.

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
