recently i took an ASL class and i am currently taking dance classes and both require so much thinking that, even as an adhd-haver, it is hard for me to have my mind wander much when in class or practicing. for those 2 hours (or however long), everything else naturally fades into the background.

🧬Whenever i’m thinking deeply about something like a great idea I tend to freeze whatever i’m doing and sort of just stare off. I’m not just blanking out, i’m usually staring and focusing at whatever my sight is on so it really helps me remember!
Example: I was staring at a glue stick when I learnt about DNA structure and replication in a-levels and now every time I look at a glue stick, I remember all things DNA

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WORKER’S DAY!!!! i love having a union, i love being a union steward and getting to support my unit. when my union won its contract, i got a pay bump, better benefits, and increased protection as a worker. 🥳
unions help address racial and gender pay gaps, issues workplaces impose on families and those having kids, addressing unsafe conditions, plus things like better health insurance, wages and overtime, weingarten rights to representation, and more!!!
