Not long ago, in a work setting, I was accused of "being too sensitive" by my boss. The reason: because I was pushing back hard against his plan to treat an elderly female employee in a dishonorable way that undermined her years of service. He meant it as an accusation, but I've cherished that "too sensitive" zinger as a compliment.
