👥I got an IG follow and message last night from a girl I knew in MIDDLE school (12+ yrs ago).
I haven’t talked to or seen her since then, but she’d often pop up in my mind, the last time being just a few days ago. All I remember is that I used to enjoy talking to her.
the first thing she said in her message was that for some reason, she’d think about me often, and also, for no particular reason… we barely knew each other back then
So, we decided we’re gonna hang out soon - don’t know why, but it just feels right. 🔮

💌Yesterday, a friend I hadn't talked to in two years contacted me. I was so happy to hear from her and to hear that she was doing well. It made my day knowing that she thought of me randomly. Now i'm going to meet with her next week.

these mints are the very best ive been buying them for years. i used to keep my ideas in these little notebooks in college when i was on the go all day, but now i wfh so i normally just write it in my laptop, but the notebook just stays in my bag. the camera is for my ego

Nick Drakes maybe second most known record, which you can only really discover after loving the devastating beauty behind Pink Moon first. Bryter Layter is so genius and cohesive, with much more instrumentation than his final record. I imagine we would have gotten more albums similar to this had we gotten more time on earth with this lonesome genius.
I believe if i were ever to find and own an original pressing of this record, the whole in my heart would be filled with the truest joy.
edit: i also want to note that songs from this album have been featured in both “The Holdovers“ and the Fred Rogers biopic, “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” which are both very cozy period pieces. So do with that what you will.
I believe if i were ever to find and own an original pressing of this record, the whole in my heart would be filled with the truest joy.
