i super don't fw our policies under this admin but i took a lovely trip to seattle w my family and it made me feel so good to see my own ideals mirrored in a beautiful, walkable (downtown) city with so much natural beauty. liberal americana is my new niche obsession and seattle on july 4th feels so perfect!

I recently went to seattle for a music festival and fell in love with the city. But less because of the place and more because of the people. Everyone was so kind and willing to talk to you, something that is not common where iβm from. And the weather was beautiful. The sun doesnβt completely set till around 10:30, and the days are warm but not sticky. Itβs perfect.

The entire algo is filled with rage baiting bots meant to make you feel disenfranchised and othered while it throws the worst content at you back to back to back - I got off the ride finally ππ½ I stayed for so long because I felt like I was getting important information about the world but it's honestly edited crap meant to keep you scrolling. Comments filled with misogynoir, ableist, and xenophobic word vomit. Back to blogs and youtube vlogs - it honestly feels so amazing to not have that app there. So much time wasted and energy lost - happy to adjust what I consider connecting and being connected π

It's like I've been released from the shackles of obsession instantaneously and they start looking like npc ken dolls - they turn into background characters so fast...my mind clears them from its memory immediately and the sun is just so π afterwards the birds, the air, the earth - what a magical feeling
